“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Every single one of us has sinned and because of that, we all fall short of the glory of God. Sin is what separates us from God and is what keeps us from entering heaven. Sin is a crime against God’s law and the penalty for breaking that law is death. When Jesus was crucified, he took that penalty for all of us so that nothing separates us from being with God. All we have to do is repent from our sins and accept Jesus into our hearts and we are then made righteous in the eyes of God. He died for each of us so that we can live for him!
